The good: Excellent iteration of the character. Design wise he looks like he came off the page.

Build quality is impressive and, even though there is no diecast, i did not miss it.

Paint applications are very good across the board.

Headsculpt is insanely good.

The Bad:

Paint applications on the forearms (the white part) is chipping. Same with the swords.

Unnecessarily fiddly and complicated shoulder assembly. You really need to watch a video review to get the gist of it.

Instructions leave a lot to be desired.

Tank treads do not roll.

No instructions for base mode.

This figure is more than worth of the title of Masterpiece. Buid quality is amazing, the amount of detail and articulation it's the most impressive of all. The moving tank tracks, possibility of combining both tank and jet. Individual finger articulation, those hands are very expressive. 100% recommended!

Seldom have I been so impressed with a transforming figure! Carnifex is a big, bulky, well built bruiser! He features not only amazing materials and a gorgeous paint job, but features some of the best articulation I've seen in a figure of this type, including an ab crunch, individually articulating fingers, shoulder pads, and a slew of awesome accessories! The transformation is fun and intuitive, and has both a combined and seperate alternative modes, as well as a base mode.

In short, this figure is a must have!!
